Is there anything I, the client, can do to keep the cost of the web site down?

To keep the cost’s down, we always suggest the client do as much preparation as possible. Changes cost money and multiple changes can cause the cost of a project to double sometimes. These tips and preparations are by no means required for any client, but if you want to save money, then doing the initial preparation work yourself is a great way to do that. Also, be sure to check out our blog for other great money-saving tips!
How long does it take to get a web site live after initial contact?

Now this is a tricky question... The amount of time it takes to complete the web site will vary depending on the size, design, content and the client's availability to provide quick feedback. If you are looking to have a web site finished in a week, that's unrealistic. The average time for design, development, testing and implementation is about a month for a small site and for large sites or sites containing heavy development can require up to 6 months. Be sure to ask us for a quote to get a better, more accurate estimate.
Why is your price so much lower than your competitors?

We get this question quite often and the answer is by only bringing people into the project when we need them at the time we need them. In other words, being a small design shop seems to be the number one reason. If your project requires additional assets, we find the best person at the best price to do that specific piece. We have a network of free-lance writers, designers and developers that are happy to jump in to make sure your projects get done correctly, quickly and efficiently. Things we don't do to save you money is cut corners on design, technology or man power.
Can I maintain my own web site?

Definately! We are here to make your website a great marketing and customer service tool. We listen to your needs and create customized solutions for you. If we are aware of your desire to maintain your website yourself, we can build in editable sections to help reduce mistakes and accidental mishaps. Once the site has been launched, and paid for, it's yours! You can change. modify, even delete your web site as you see fit. If at anytime you wish for us to take over maintenance, we will gladly do that also. Just let us know and we can step in and begin the updates.
How do I get my web site address and do you offer hosting?

There are many ways to get your web site address(Domain), some hosting companies even offer you one free. In fact, the hosting company we suggest and work with frequently offers great pricing, free domain registration and unlimited email accounts. Find out more about this company or ask us, we can tell you most of the answers. Currently, we do not process billing for hosting or domain registration, but can set it up for you and handle all the details.
I already have a web site, what can you do to help me update it?

This is what we call a face-lift. If your website has been solidly designed and you want to keep it, we can optimize the code to allow for quicker download times, update the graphics for a more modern look, add pages to match the existing look and feel and much more. We also offer 'quick updates', meaning it can be as easy as changing the font, editing text or simply updating a graphic or two. It does not have to be kreated by us for us to make updates. Contact us for more details.
What is your process and how does it differ from other web design shops?

Our process is simple, first we discuss your wants and needs, by simply asking questions about your desires and expectations. Next we gather the content, and this is where we differ from other design shops. We ask you to put together a file with all the content you want on the web site. You know the most about your business, the ins and outs, the best way to approach your customers. Then we begin the design process based on the content and specifications given to us by you. Once page designs are approved, we begin development, then testing. Once testing is complete, it goes live.
